Call to Dance
The healing power of movement, the experience of belonging to community: dancing, singing, storytelling. Bring it all to your school, library, church, synagogue; or share with life partners, friends, and family in your own home. Give some special form to the fun your guests can have at a wedding or other celebrations.
We can move our feet and hands and raise our voices in unison to mark the rhythms of music and folk dances from sources ranging from Native American, African, Latin, and Middle Eastern to Western European, Celtic, Greek, and Israeli. I will bring an appropriate music and dance program to your community. It is a group activity that requires no partners or any previous experience. All steps are taught from the very beginning and dances are selected from those easiest to learn.
To cover travel, preparation expenses and rent, a donation is requested ($5-10), but no one will be turned away. Call to learn more and discuss what we can do in your community to bring people together with the spirit and joy of dance.
